These are patterns of behavior by companies publicly traded on the stock exchange. Our complaints are not anomalies.

This is how the mega-apps engage with the public.

Grubub Breach of Contract

Being off by 20 minutes for an appointment that pays for 15 minutes is unreasonable. How is an INDEPENDENT DELIVERY BUSINESS supposed to schedule customers when one customer is this far off their contracted specifications?

This is not an accident.
This is not the fault of the restaurant.
This is GrubHub's standard operation.

The driver is to "pick up" by 5:08pm.
The restaurant is to be "ready" by 5:28pm.

That's a 20 minute overrun on a 15 minute contracted task.
There is no compensation for this.

Why is this not a material breach of contract with exemplary damages for fraud?

(It's not only GrubHub. This blatant fraud is perpetuated by all of the mega-apps: DoorDash, Uber, InstaCart, AmazonFlex, etc.)

But the apps only give us 9 minutes grace. Yes this is DD but they all act the same.
